Day one ended yesterday with a broken left rear strut. We dropped almost twelve minutes and were basically last.

A whirlwind three hour round trip drive back to Kudla HQ by DaFish and Lachy to dismantle components from another EVO saw the car rebuilt to tackle today’s three stages.

Not quite the same setup, but DaFish and Beaker got into their stride with a couple of healthy top ten stage times, clawing back a few places.

Heat one is now done.

Heat two begins tomorrow (Sunday) with 160+ competition kms to try and claw back some places overall.

With two stages over 40km Daren is looking forward to a consistent run and making up some time.
